Chase Tyler http://bandtlive.com/2015/11/14/chase-tyler-2/ Sat, 14 Nov 2015 18:14:24 +0000 http://bandtlive.com/?p=604 Friday – November 27, 2015

Hard rockin’ country spiced up Louisiana style with a pinch of swamp pop, a dash of southern rock, oldies but goodies to taste, and a whole lot of energy are the makings of a Chase Tyler show. Since the release of his debut CD in 2005, Chase Tyler and his band have been tearing up honkytonks and burning down roadhouses throughout the southland, winning fans and friends all along the way. Chase’s smooth, rich vocals, backed by some of Louisiana’s best musicians, make you want to hug the one you’re with and get up and dance, often at the same time.

“Awesome,” says WYNK Country 101.5’s Austin James. “Chase Tyler is one of the rising stars on the country music scene,” adds Sugarlips Chris Powers of WTGE 100.7 The Tiger. Nationally syndicated Big D and Bubba simply say: “Chase Tyler ROCKS!”. The prestigious fan site ReverbNation ranks the Chase Tyler Band #1 for the greater Baton Rouge area and in the Top 100 of all country acts nationwide.

With the release of his latest full length CD, “Just Add Beer”, Chase has once again established why he is one of the preeminent country artists in the southeast. The title track says it all, but it is only one of 12 great songs penned by some of the country’s best songwriters, any of which could be a #1 hit. From the small town “Front Porch News” to the playful “Love’s No Accident”, there’s something for everyone and  a heartfelt story told in each song.

Chase and his band appear regularly throughout gulf coast region.

Sofa Kings http://bandtlive.com/2015/11/14/sofa-kings/ Sat, 14 Nov 2015 18:10:25 +0000 http://bandtlive.com/?p=600 Friday – November 20, 2015

The Sofa Kings band is unlike any other cover band. Fused in Ascension Parish, the band consists of Austin Savoy on lead vocals, Devin Roussel on guitar and vocals, Josh Martinez on guitar, Josh Russell on bass, and Matt Spurgeon on drums. We like to think of ourselves as a new generation cover band. Many great songs were written in the 90s and early 2000s that need to be brought back to life. We compliment these songs with some newer chart toppers. Our showmanship and musicality speak for themselves when we are on stage with a jam-packed set list. “You guys are unlike any other cover band I’ve heard,” is what we like to hear after a great show.We strive to produce an energetic, powerful, yet melodic sound that we harness and display with great musicianship and raw talent.
